Tommy Fury’s opponents record “embarrassing” compared to Jake Paul’s, says Love Island star rival Anthony Taylor

JAKE PAUL can take out Tommy Fury in three rounds due to the Briton’s lack of “experience”, said Anthony Taylor.

The 32-year-old MMA fighter will take on Fury, 22, in Ohio this weekend as part of the undercard before Paul takes on Tyron Woodley.

This will be Paul’s fourth professional boxing fight, following victories over ex-UFC star Ben Askren, basketball player Nate Robinson and YouTuber AnEsonGib.

Despite the lack of recognized ring names on this list, Taylor is convinced that Fury’s former opponents would be “steam-driven” by Paul’s former rivals.

The Love Island star’s previous challengers included Jordan Grant, who had fought twice professionally before a four-round loss, and 0-16 veteran Scott Williams.

Taylor said Betway: “A lot of people expect that if Jake wins this fight, they would love to see a Tommy Fury fight against Jake Paul.

“It can be interesting too depending on how Tyron’s fight goes and my fight.

“Tommy Fury vs. Jake Paul, that’s a good fight. When you compare Tommy’s fights to Jake’s, Tommy’s fights are embarrassing.

“Then look at the fights Jake fought, I’m pretty sure the guys Jake beat would beat the guys Tommy beat.”

“I guarantee you Ben Askren gets Tommy Fury’s opponents rolling. I’m not kidding. Jake absolutely beats Tommy Fury.

“Tommy is wild. I think Jake TKO’s Tommy in the third round. Tommy doesn’t have the experience, without Tyson Fury he’s just a pretty Brit – an ordinary guy they build.

“I don’t think Tommy has the skills to beat Jake. Jake has better skills than Tommy.

“These guys probably started boxing at the same time because Tommy wasn’t on the amateur circuit. He only really entered after meeting his daughter Molly off the coast of Love Island.

“These two are coming to boxing at the same time, you absolutely have to see who had the toughest opponents. Tommy fought a guy with 10 wins and 126 losses – Jake would never fight a guy like that.”

Taylor fought with Paul, 24, for two months before the impending fight against Woodley.

The American even claimed to have earned more training with the star online than fighting in MMA for several years.

And he’s convinced the can beat Fury, following Father John’s release from training camp.

Taylor continued, “I’m going to test his chin for the first time and I’m going to shock the world.

“He’s got nothing I’ve never seen before. He’s going to the second round by TKO. He’ll be sorry he ignored me.

“I work hard, I’m hungry. He’s not that good. I want what he has: money, status, everything.

“I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If I lose, it’s just an MMA fighter who loses to a boxer. But if I win this fight, I’m a megastar.

“He’s young, he’s 22, of course it’s going to affect him not having his dad there. Your comfort zone is your dad. If you’re having trouble, your dad should be able to protect you.

“His dad won’t be there, so he’ll step out of his comfort zone and I’m going to expose him.”

Tyson Fury’s dad John says he walked out of Tommy’s fight camp weeks before Anthony Taylor’s fight after the wedding
