Tommy Fury gets the chance to prove he’s more than just a reality TV star on Saturday night at Wembley.

Tyson Fury’s half-brother has been selected to be on the undercard for the Gypsy King’s big British heavyweight clash against Dillian Whyte.

Tommy pulled out of his big fight with Jake Paul due to injury

The former Love Island star caught the attention of British audiences during the 2019 edition of the hit ITV2 series.

However, he has serious ambitions to become a boxer and follow in Tyson’s footsteps.

In December last year, he was due to fight professional YouTuber Jake Paul, but pulled out due to a bacterial infection and a broken rib.

But he has fully recovered and is ready to get his boxing career back on track at Wembley on Saturday before Tyson takes on Whyte.

Here’s everything you need to know about Tommy Fury…

Tommy Fury: Beginnings and who did he fight

Fury made his professional debut on December 22, 2018, when he beat Jevgenijs Andrejevs on points.

He has since knocked out Callum Ide and Scott Williams, including a first-round knockout of Ide.

He won his last fight by unanimous decision against Anthony Taylor and is now set to fight Daniel Bocianski in front of a stellar crowd at Wembley and potentially a massive PPV audience.

Tommy Fury: professional awards

Considering he’s only 22, Fury has only managed seven fights in his short career, but he’s yet to lose, winning every fight.

That 7-0-0 record is on the line this weekend, but if he wants to replicate Tyson, he’ll have to go undefeated for a bit longer.

Tommy Fury’s fight with Bocianski will be live on talkSPORT this Saturday along with the rest of the undercard and the big fight between the Gypsy King and the Body Snatcher.

Tommy Fury: weight, height and reach

Unlike Tyson, Tommy competes in a lower weight division (light-heavyweight) and came in at 12th 9lbs for his last fight. It is also 6 feet (183 cm) tall and has a reach of 80 inches (203 cm).

Tommy Fury: Next fight and future opponents

The fight with Bocianski is ready for this weekend, Saturday April 23.

It takes place at Wembley Stadium in London with over 90,000 fans attending.

It is not yet known when Tommy will face his opponent as the order of the undercards has not yet been decided.

However, Fury already has his eyes on his next fight and revealed to talkSPORT earlier this month; he still wants to face Paul, with the American looking for another matchup.

He said: “In my eyes, that fight is still here.

“If he wants the big fights and the big numbers and the big pay-per-views, he knows where to come from.”

Therefore, it’s definitely a game to watch, but he’ll have to beat Bocianski first.

Tommy Fury: What was said?

Tommy’s father, John Fury: “I have high hopes that he wins the world light heavyweight championship.

“This kid can go all the way. He’s lively, he’s strong. I also see shades of Golovkin in him as a young man. Everything is experience at this level. You will see another Tommy this time. You look.”
